Not at all. The app is designed to be picked up fast, even if you are not tech-savvy. The whole flow is tap a room, tap the tasks you completed, and save. During our beta, technicians were logging on the very same day they were introduced to the app. No manuals, no long training sessions, just a quick walkthrough and they were off.
The app keeps working. Technicians can log tasks in rooms with no Wi-Fi or poor signal, like basement areas or isolated wings, and everything saves locally on the device. As soon as the connection comes back, the app syncs automatically and the logs appear in the dashboard. There is also a small banner on screen that lets the technician know they are offline so they are never caught off guard.
You do. Admins set the AM Check deadline in the organization settings so the dashboard reflects your team's actual schedule, not a generic one. If morning checks need to be done by 10:30 AM, that is what the system uses. Rooms logged before that time show as On Time, rooms logged after show as Late, and rooms that never get logged show as Missed. You can also mark specific rooms as End of Day rooms if they operate on a different timeline.
Yes. Supervisors and administrators receive a daily summary email that shows exactly which rooms were completed on time, which were submitted late, and which were never logged at all. You do not have to open the app or go looking for it. The report comes to you in your email.
The app checks the reading against your alert rules right away. If it exceeds a threshold you set, like a temperature going above 74 degrees in a mouse room, it sends an email to whoever you have configured as a recipient. That email includes the room name, the species, the exact reading, who logged it, and the time it was submitted.
Yes. Each task template has its own frequency setting. You can configure tasks to run daily, twice a week, three times a week, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. You can even pin a task to specific days of the week, like every Monday and Thursday. The scheduler figures out who needs to do what and when, and it shows up on the right technician's schedule on the right day automatically.
Supervisors can log an absence for that technician and then reassign their rooms to someone else for the day without changing permanent assignments at all. The replacement tech sees the new tasks on their schedule right away. The whole thing takes about a minute and everything is recorded in the audit log with who made the change and when.
Yes. The dashboard lets you pick any date and filter by building, floor, or technician. You can see exactly which rooms were logged, who logged them, what readings were entered, and at what time.
